At Coogee Synagogue, we believe that a Bar/Bat Mitzvah is not the end of one???s Jewish education, but rather, just the beginning.
We are committed to assisting the Coogee Family with expanding their knowledge of their heritage as they grow from adolescence, through young adulthood and on to chuppah and raising a family.
In this spirit, we often hold shiurim on topics of Jewish interest, conducted by Rabbis from the Sydney Jewish community.?? We also have Jewish celebrities present their stories to us at special functions.
Since 2010, Coogee Synagogue has been the exclusive Sydney venue for the annual Global Day of Jewish Learning, held on a Sunday in mid November around the world (see links below).
