Coogee Synagogue was established by holocaust survivors after World War 2 in 1950. These refugees settled in the Coogee District and immediately set about the task of establishing a congregation.
Today our services are led by the members and the youth. All are encouraged to participate in all aspects of Synagogue life. The services are attended by a core group of dedicated individuals and we always welcome guests to join us. Our High Holiday Services are a time of reflection where the entire membership join our Chazan, for an inspiring uplifting and inspirational service.
My family and I are Chabad-Lubavitch and are representatives of the world wide Chabad Chassidic Movement.
I am available for counselling and crisis intervention at any time.
Each week I put together my thoughts on the weeks happenings and try and draw a parallel with the weeks Parashah.
