We have three types of membership available:
To become a permanent member of the shul……………
1. A one-off payment of $1200 key money is required.
2. ??A yearly seat rental fee will be payable
As a permanent member, you keep the same seat, your seat is guaranteed from year to year.
To become a temporary member of the shuI
If you choose not to become a permanent member of the shul you can still rent a seat for the year (all be it at a higher rental fee) This seat is naturally allocated after all the permanent seats.
1. No key money is required
2. A yearly seat rental fee is payable
As a temporary member your seats position and availability unfortunately cannot be guaranteed from year to year.
To become an associate member of Coogee Shul
If you do not want to rent a seat in shul, you can become an associate member.

2. No yearly seat rental is required
??As a temporary member you are not entitled to a seat for the High Holy Days.
In addition Permanent Shul membership entitles you to discounts for Shul events, booking fees for Bar/Batmitzvah???s and weddings, and certain of the Rabbi???s fees.
If you have a valid pensioner or a student card you are entitled to special seat rental rates, we will need to sight the card to confirm your eligibility of course.
Our current annual?? seat rental fees are as follows:
Permanent seat – $610 + $20 membership + $20 (+GST) security levy
Temporary seat- $685 + $50 membership + $20 (+GST) security levy
Student seat- $305 + $20 membership + $20 (+GST) security levy
Pensioner seat? – $205 + $20 membership + $20 (+GST) security levy
Associate membership – $50 + $20 (+GST) security levy
